Turn In date and New Puppy

I know I have not updated here in a while and can you believe in 6 short weeks (October 29th) Gentry will be going in for training. Not only is turn in so close but I'll be picking up my new Yellow Female September 2nd she is from the "V" litter so any names will be a help.

Well today is the day I am going in for formal training I am really excited to be going to do something new and I also get to see my litter mate all together for the first time since the puppy nursery (well all except two Calle who is a new breeder and Carley who was career changes last May). Denise and I arrive early and my friend Hapor is running around the off leash area so I join her before Denise and I turn in my puppy jacket. At the lunchen one of the trainers tells us a little about what our pups are going to be doing in formal training and Lorri thanks us for the gift of a guide dog and then Louise tells us that our raisers can call any time they like to get a update on how we are doing. Today is the day I have to say good bye to Denise. I am off Guide Dog College to learn to be someone’s special eyes. I am really excided so many of my friends are here to like Rincon, Lambert, Stewart, Orion, Maui, my brother Orlando and so many more. I have a new roommate name Sydney she is a black goldendoodle she is a little nerves about coming to college but I told her my friends Wissel, Watcher, and W-Rose just graduated from here and they told me they had a great time and we will too.On the way to school all decked out in my GDA red nylon collar & tags The Ventura GDA Group - Nidia, Ninya, Oceana, Maui & SydneyWalking with Denise and Jacob to my new dorm room.
